The World Coop Management (WCM’19) Congress on September 30 and October 1, 2019 took place on the city of Belo Horizonte (Brasil). "WCM’19 highlights the importance to offer international events of a large scale to the sector aiming to maximize the success of cooperative leaders". During two days, representatives of the relevant Brazilian cooperatives are sharing their experiences and aspirations. Nuno Moreira da Cruz had the privilege, representing Catolica-Lisbon, to speak to more than 1000 participants about the challenges facing cooperatives willing to become "Responsible Businesses". A great event illustrating the power of the coop movement in the Brazilian economy and society.
